its the same as my 2.2 cd, for some strange reason its an optional center arm rest thats supposed to sit in the upper possition then press the lever and drops down to the lower possition. my nose got the better of me and i removed the center console to see what the problem was if any.

weirdly it has all the bells and whistles already in place but theres a sort of alloy cam and lever set up each side of the arm rest where the cams look as though the final machining has not been done the allow this wonderful event to take place :-X

i was going to set about them with a angle grinder but couldnt be bothered ::)

im glad i didnt now it could have deployed the ejector seat!! :)

top button opens the lid, but bottom button does not seem to do anything, not used one before and only had car a month. A was assuming it would adjust the hight?
I suppose the mech. is buggerd? Whats the normal operation please guys? And is it likely to break again, if i lean on it to heavy. Tar

Face lift 3.2 elite 52 plate.

The bottom button is for activating a nitro system when installed. :y

Why are you surprised?  You have everything else on an Elite, so why not!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)
