What I do know is this:

I bought my 19" Vauxhall Signum SRI Snowflake wheels from a man with a new Astra who had just swapped them for some 19" Audi A8 wheels. He had to have the offset brought down (machined) to match his car, but the stud/hole spacing is obviously compatible. :y

Check the "ET" rating of the wheels before you buy. You need ET35 - 38 or thereabouts. The Signum wheels I bought were ET45 (FWD see?), but you can increase offset with Eibach Pro hub-centric spacers if you need to.

Edited as I got my ET numbers mixed up as per the post below VVV

the audi wheels are not exactly the correct fit (112) while the omega is (110) and the centre bore is different aswell audi (57.1) omega (65.1) and the offset is not to far out on some of the models but not all HTH

As far as i'm aware the only vehicle manufactures to make wheels that fit VX Omega's PCD is Saab.

         Hope this helps,

How did the man I bought my Vx wheeels from manage to fit genuine A8 wheels to his car then? Was he just forcing them on unsafely? Sounds a bit dodgy to me if what you're saying is correct :-/

2mm difference spread over 5 studs is only a fraction, the bore would have been machined

i would only ever use actual correct fitment though

I don't doubt you, I'm just shocked. He was a policeman too, you would have thought he'd try to be safer then most.

Maybe he fitted H&R concentric spacer/adaptors that mount to the hub and allow an alternative fitment wheel to be mounted. Common on VW and Audi models swapping wheels.

See this fitment guide shows available adaptors - Audi do have some 5x100 fitments. Plus, 5x100 to 5x112 adaptors for Audi...  these must fit, no? This may not be the full fitment list and I am sure that you could get bespoke ones made for your requirements. http://www.performancealloys.com/alloy_wheels_adaptors.asp

Hope this helps,

Martin

My '00 CD standard 5 spoke wheels are marked ET 39 . I've just fitted facelift Elite wheels which are again ET 39.
I've tried a set of ET 47 wheels on mine and providing the camber is correct they will fit without fouling strut or caliper.
