Water tight connectors...
« on: 20 July 2008, 13:00:29 »

Hi,

I need a few of these water tight automotive connectors to complete my LPG install.  Most of the system has the already, but some of the wires don't.. ie: tank sensor, temp sensor.

Does anyone know where i can get them?  I tried Maplins and CPC but they are a bit over priced and didn't have the correct type.

Sorry if this is the wrong part of OOF, please move if needed.

Thanks

How about a trip down the scrappy and cut a few from a breaker?

Look like Molex automotive ones.

No, there not cheap and CPC would be about the cheapest around anyway.

You could try the Samtec web site, they do samples  :y

That looks a bit like the "Weatherproof Connectors" on this page of vehicle wiring products' website:

http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/connectors/multiconnectors.php

Not sure they're identical actually, looking at the mating face...  :-/

I'm not too concerned about using the same connectors, but if i do it'll look much better in the engine bay...

I've looked at Samtec but couldn't find a great deal, i'll ty googling in a bit

Thanks  :D
