message on computer screen reads display safe all

can any1 help,on my new 2000 model mv6 estate the screen as a text saying display safe,but radio/cd work but no info.just display safe alltime :-[

Sounds like your CID/GID does has been paired to another radio, not the one fitted.

Hmmm, Just had to put the code in to my stereo, perhaps you should try the same and fool the MID into thinking it has sorted the problem. It may not cure it but can't do any harm.

I suspect its an NCDC series radio, hence no code ;)
