heater pipes
« on: 14 August 2008, 22:28:09 »

Have a problem with the hoses for the heater on my 2L 16v with air con. I can't get any heat through or change the dirrection of he air flow, it blows on the windscreen and nowhere else.
I know it is controlled by vacume pipes but I can't seem to find anywhere that says where they connect to as mine has one to the servo pipe and the other one is not connetced.
Can someone please help me locate them back to there correct position and winter is fast approaching.
Thank you

Sit in the cabin quiet. Turn the control to feet or face, you may hear a hiss behind the dash?

Failing that, check the vacc pipe from baulkhead to HBV, and also the little vacc tank on the NS of the car, under the scuttle...
