faulty electric seat height adjuster
« on: 16 August 2008, 20:26:23 »

my '98 2.5 V6 has electric height adjustment on the front seats. when i push the button, the motor engages, and you can see it jolt, but it just doesn't turn the threaded rod. both sets of adjusters look clean and lubricated, but neither works...

i'm sure i could fix this by removing the seats and dismantling the whole thing, but i was just wondering if there was a "quick-fix" for this problem?
