rear wiper not working(estate)

Hi all on my estate my rear wiper has a mind of its own.when i want the wiper to go on it doent then afew mins later it wipes afew times then stops again.if i press the stoke i can hear that the water wants to cpme out but dont.Can anyone think wot can be wrong with it

Could be a sticky relay....  :-/

But i think the water prob must be a blockage....coz its the same water bottle for the windscreen washers

Have you checked the jet is free of debris.......ie poke a pin in the nozzle  ;)

I had a simular problem when I first got my mig, it turned out to just be dirty contacts. Cleaned them and aint had no problem for over 2 years!
