Checking suspension levelling compressor
« on: 19 August 2008, 20:02:56 »

Right. Have got the blighter off

The wiring loom has four wires to the suspension self levelling compressor off my elite. Colour codes are two black and purple to the air tank? and a black and a black and green to the compressor. Am I right in thinking that the black is the earth and the black and green the live feed?

Presumably the two black and purple are some sort of control from the sensors?

In the morning I would like to test the compressor assembly by putting two wires from the battery. Any suggestions please.???

PS Changed over the two small cabin relays (470's) in case that was the problem - no difference.
