well hi guys,

wondered whether you could put my mind to rest.

i have been giving the car a once over as i am going on holiday tomorrow and its a long drive from somerset to kent towing a trailer.

well there is a weird noise comin from under the car, gearbox area. the best way to try and describe it a wining/humming/ cycling noise. its constant once the cars warmed up and does not change in volume or any other way whether moving or stationary. i have had no indications at all, gearbox works fine.

i am hoping i have just noticed it because the cars on the drive and the sound is confined cos the drives down the side of the house.  :-/ or knowing my luck the gearbox pump is on its way out or a soleniod maybe.......( hope not) i have just done a level check on it it needed no more the 1/2 a litre. just done an oil change on the engine too.



what do you guys think?  :-/
