cruise yet again

i fitted the cruise set up on my ex plod mv6 yesterday an it dont work,i connected the clutch switch,put the stalk in and put the control unit under the bonnet,took it out to try the cruise but it doesnt work,any ideas why not? :(

Needs a T2 to "turn it on" I think

If its a mini or prefacelift, it should work straight out the box once you fit:

Actuator unit to multiplug on drivers side strut top.
Working cruise stalk.
4 pin brake switch (not a standard 2 pin).
Clutch switch, if not auto.

Does not need Tec2 to initiate.....   :y

If not working, recheck connectors.  Police vehicle technicians have a habit of, when removing plod kit, simply chopping wires and taping them up out the way....

3.0 or 3.2?

i was taking it as been a FBW with it been ex Police - got to be more face lift ones about by now

Phew!!   :D  Thanks for changing your profile as well - it was the 2.5 CDX that threw me!!   ;D

Did you change the brake switch to a 4 wire one?  If its still a 2 wire, theres your prob.  ;)
