WHICH ONE IS WHICH
« on: 10 September 2008, 17:22:58 »

I have had the breathers off and cleaned today ,problem is I have got the two small pipies mixed up again  :-[ I did this last time too  :-X Question is which is which the one that goes to the metal connector with the small hole in .
I have looked at the maint guide but it does not say which is which .
Also are the seals that are suggested are they they the strange shaped one that goes on the black plastic in to the hole on the plenum

Hi, the pipe i think you are refering to is the thin one off the breather block. This one goes in the left hand stub as you look from the front of the car.

If this is the seal you are describing it goes bethern the plenum & the black breather that goes on top of the plenum. Depending of your car has the extended plenum or not you will need two thin o-rings for an early car & 4 for the later one with the extended casting.
Hope I have been of some assistance.
