...my local VX don't have the cam cover gaskets, o-rings and sealant on the shelf.  Had a mis-fire for about a couple of weeks and finally got the time to look at things.  Printed my OOF guide out  :y and went out into the sunshine.  Oil in the spark plug wells  :(

Well, hope the weathers as good next weekend as this.

And some numpty's been under my bonnet before and stripped one of the threads on the plenum for the EGR.  There's a load of bodge on the EGR too.  Might be blanking that off while I'm in there.

I've got new leads and plugs, so I'll be changing those over too.  Question is, is it worth changing the DIS Pack while I've got things apart?  Difficult to say if it's at fault yet I know, but worth it?

debateable, me, i would try new parts first and see what happens. Sods law though, you'll get in there and find its buggerd. But considering how awkward a job it is, i would rather remove plenum and scuttle twice than do dis pac once. I suppose it comes down to how easy and cheaply you can get another dis pac.
