MarkDTM is rarely wrong.

Head Gasket failure is a common "diagnosis" of a couple of Omega faults and is almost always the wrong diagnosis on the V6. With the 1000's of members of this forum many with old and high mileage Omegas (no offence to anybody!) we've probably seen 2 or 3 real head gasket failures.

Oil leaks are almost always the cam covers and sometimes the oil pressure switch.
