Nearside front door seal change

Hi all - need some help please -  has anyone ever changed the front n/side doorseal - had a quick look at changing mine today as i'm still trying to solve rain getting in but got a bit concerned at how it fits on the door at the doorlock end where it goes down between the window and the door - i 've taken door card off to see but didn't start pulling seal out as it seemed to be stuck - is there a particular method for changing this ?

Do you mean the main door seal or the seal around the edge of the window glass?

Its the seal that goes around the door - there's only 2 clips holding the seal into the door which closes against the a-pillar and water is gathering on the sill - i've taken pic of where its gathering

Is the water gathering sill side or interior side?

The water gathers sill side - also the interior doorcard gets wet under the door speaker and water can also be seen just under the the lip of the door frame seal at where the 2 interior trim bits join in the picture
