alarming prospect
« on: 06 October 2008, 22:48:44 »

Hi guys,
Just had my tech 2 guy check my newly purchased 2.5 v6 gls estate (2000 my). I asked him to check the alarm as I hadnt heard it activate. He replied "It wont as there isnt one" I read the drivers handbook book and there is a section in there regarding alarms. I thought all modern cars had factory alarms fitted as standard. If this one aint got one. I better get 1 fitted as I told my insurance co that it had one. anybody any idea? If I have to spend any more brass on this crate the mrs will have me flog it and go back to my toyota avensis
