2nd hand steering idler,would you use

Car failed MOT on one steering idler, There is a low mileage omega in my usual breaker and idler is tight. cant source one from main dealer. Would you use it ? need to be mobile this weekend!

aint gonna hurt for a weekend, providing it comes off ok, I would get one from ebay asap, but not one of the ultracheap ones

think you will want geometry sorting afterwards as well

Will use out of desperation as one on car is well goosed, Just ordered an O.E one for £29.95 on fleabay as opposed to aftermarket for £12.95, Shouldn't really skimp on steering. Cheers guys

As a temporary measure, if it comes off th Donor OK, then no problem at all for MOT purposes......

Tracking/steering  shouldn't alter.......  :-/
