ESP
« on: 22 October 2008, 07:09:01 »

Hi!

My car is not equpped with ESP, I have only ABS and TC. It's a facelift Omega with 3.0 motor, model year 2000.
What kind of parts are needed to let it ESP in the car?
What parts are different in ESP equipped cars?
As I now the ESP has no switch so, its works or not...(I have no ESP so I only think this :-? )
Does it possible to install ESP in the car?

The very very last models had ESP.... though it wasn't much more advanced than ABS/Traction Control IIRC.

Yes, was available on the very last models, it's a "full set" as in most of today's cars have. I have no idea of the differences, you might find some details from TIS and part numbers from EPC but again, as it's extremely rare setup the only place to find the needed components is the Dealer and you can only imagine the price level....

Very, very rare option in UK.  It has additional ECUs and gyrosensors etc.
