fault codes 73...

hiya, i know fault code 73 is maf sensor voltage low but does this mean its buggered or does it mean iv probably got an airleak?

iv just sorted an airleak from the icv!
also i had 21 but i'v changed tps so should be ok

Sudgests an air leak......is the ECU light still on?

i need to clear the engine check light just to make sure but i think its cleared now

If the fault is gone then the light will go off.....the code will remain stored though

ok thanks matey, is it true te ecu will lose the saved codes i you disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes or so?

Nope....its a myth.

Most codes will clear after a number of clean starts (20+)

what about the turn the ignition on and off quickly 25+ times? another myth?

might just buy a cheapo tech2 haha!
