new alarm siren, need to be programmed?
« on: 24 November 2008, 21:55:07 »

Just been looking at a new siren on fleabay, seller states that it will need to be programmed by tech 2(dealer) for it to work.

is this correct?

if so that means a working second hand one from another car wouldnt work either...  :-/

The sounder is programed to the car.
But you dont need one the car unless your in a high crime area !
There is an admin in fife that could help you but that is a fair old trek from where you are.
