Xenon Headlight Sensor
« on: 05 December 2008, 10:41:44 »

Just got told that delivery from Vauxhall for part 9117094(headlight sensor) is 14 April 2009.

Does anyone know where I can get alternative supply?

Lights are dazzling oncoming cars on dipped and oncoming planes on full beam.

thanks.

Is it totaly broken?

I am sure one of the breakers on here has one.

Also, if the arm has popped out of the sensor then remove it all, clean and lube all the ball joints, an re-assemble.

The most common failure mechanism is for the actuating arm ball joints to sieze, this in turn pulls the ball joint from the sensor assembly.
