i had that when i bought mine,  i just cleaned it out and its been fine since,  the car had been stood for a while and only used for very short trips before hand.

Fire rings were in tact, it was coolant to outside that went on mine (though MDTM still disputes that)

I,ve had same problem on mine car...
I do lot's of short trips,and in last few weeks I noticed quite a lot of mayo on filler cap and on filler neck...

SOLUTION: remove oil filler neck (really easy, just rotate it ccw, same as the filler cap) ... i've did this, and mayo is gone :y
