o2 sensor heater malfunction
« on: 15 January 2009, 10:08:46 »

A couple of days ago the EML light came on. Using the pedal diagnosis revealed 0135 and 0141 - bank 1 O2 sensor heater problem. Seems strange that both would go at the same time? Anybody experienced this?

Cheers!

P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

So we are talking about the drivers side bank.....and both sensor on that front pipe section (mixture and efficiency)

Ok, meaure the voltage between pins 1 (Grey wire) and 2 (Green wire) on the either of the two sensor.

The sensors have a common supply (pin 1 - grey wire) so check the wire for damage......

Good advice! As they share a common power supply that is a good place to start.
