95 2.5 v6 omega upper strut brace
« on: 07 August 2008, 22:54:42 »

I was wondering if anybody can tell me if it is possible to get a front upper strut brace for a '95 2.5 v6 omega.  If it is what is the name and address or websiteofthe company supplying them?

Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't have thought so... It's pretty tight getting LPG injectors there!

Thanks everyone for answering my question.  More curious than anything.  I found a place that is advertising them for the omega, just wondered if anyone had bought or fitted one and if so did it help the handling like they are supposed to do?

Just incase anyone is interested here is the link. http://www.advancedautosport.com/braces.htm

ooh. It does look fairly compact. Might fit?
I would have thought tho, that the usual movement in the omega bushes and stearing box would make the idea a bit of waiste of time. Any saving in chasis flex would be completely lost in the those components. Would be interested to hear if its worthwhile but tbh i would be spending my money on bushes/stearing idler and servicing. The mig really is not that accurate a tool, an Ozy touring car it is not.

The Omega chassis is pretty stiff anyway, not sure it would offer much benefit for non track users  :-/

from what iv heard its not exactly hard to improve on the handling of the vectra as its pants basically is what i heard, the saabs do alot of suspension upgrades and stuff on the 900 i think it is aswell (same as vectra basically)
