Almost done, but will it work?
« on: 28 January 2009, 18:46:20 »

Well I'm 95% through rebuilding my engine. It had two bent rods, just lucky that the block wasn't damaged and I managed to get a hold of replacment rods for 50 quid :)

Athough before I took it apart, it was missfiring on two cylinders, one of which didn't have a bent rod and was mechanically fine :-/

When it was being turned on the key sometimes it would just stop suddenly with a very nasty sound :-/

What should I look out for before I ruin my rebuilt engine by trying to start it?
