help with a fault code please

car is a 99 s reg 2.0 16v

have done the paper clip test and i get the eml flashing 10 times then once then another 10 twice

so im thinking fault is 0100??

any ideas people?

I'm probably wrong, but I think it's "P0100      Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage High ". HTH.

A code P0100 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

The MAF may be disconnected, or a wiring connection may be bad
The MAF sensor may be faulty
Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.  :y

i found out that it means maf sensor voltage to high

so what that means i dnt know

would this explain my breakdown in power?
