Droning/whining noise.

As above. Seems to be coming from front nearside. More noticeable when turning or bearing to the right. No discernible play in the wheel bearings. Noise tends to be more pronounced when decelerating. Sounds like the noise on the old fords when diff was worn but as said, it appears to be coming from the front. Any ideas guys :question

I have a similar noise but mine is less when turning right.lol
I have a feeling the previous owner hit something with the front wheel (a kerb or something) I'm going to replace the hub and bearing on that side tomorrow and also fit new wishbones so hopefully that cures it

Certainly pointing to wheel bearing....

You did do the footbrake on/off comparison and no discernable difference in free play?

Yep. No difference at all. Hardly any play at all in both bearings. Only thing I noticed when doing 3/9 check was the front struts would move slightly side to side :-?

Sounds like wheel bearing but can be tyre issue i.e. not matched or worn. Vectras and Signum sites are always posting on this and it turns out to be tyre quality or wear.

I doubt it has something to do with tyres. I got 4 new tyres yesterday and the noise is exactly the same as before
