Speedo problem
« on: 19 February 2009, 16:51:21 »

Hi all,

Hope someone might be able to help.  Speedo on my 1998 MV6 does not work neither does the rev counter.  Speedo just "vibrates" around the 0 and continues after engine is switched off until MFD light goes out.  Cant see any blown fuses.

Tried removing dash clocks and securing back but with no success.  Can anyone tell me where the sensors are which supply the rev counter and speedo.  Presume it must be one sensor which feeds both as they are both not working.

Anyideas?

Thanks.

Hi,

Haven't changed them, but removed and refitted.  On refitting, before fitting the scews, tried pushing them back in but no success.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
