Coolant Level indicator

The collant level indicator lights up at start up and occasionally when running. Water level is fine and no probs with temp, where is the sensor that feeds the display? or is there another explanation? All advice greatfuly recieved. :y

The sensor is in the expansion tank and gets clogged up... I cured mine with a coolant change and flush but I was very lucky :y :y :y

Only other solution is a new tank, or disconnect it and bridge the connections ::) ::)
