If i had a 2.6 omega with a f knackered engine  would removing it and fitting my 2.5 be straight forward? or is there any problems i would encounter?

I am looking at various cars listed on ebay  as you know my car had a fire the otherday and while the car is totaly intact the same cant be said for the wiring  so my plan was to find one with a knackered motor and swap my 2.5 into it and make a good car out of the 2

ok scrap that idea and on to the next one
