Self-Levelling Shock Absorbers
« on: 15 March 2009, 19:44:43 »

Sorry if this has already been covered, a forum search didn't recover anything.

Is the replacement of self-levelling shockers something that can be done at home on the drive? The Haynes manual talks about needing compressed air to pump them up. Does anyone know if/how I can get round that , say, with a foot pump?

If you have an air line in your garage, then you can pump up the dampers a little before you fit them. If you don't, then just fit them as you would ordinary dampers and the car's compressor will do it for you.  :y :y :y
