MV6 running problems
« on: 23 March 2009, 17:33:02 »

Hi guys, I've just bought an MV6 on a w plate(2000) and it has some running problems. It starts fine from cold and will drive spot on for 5-10 mins and then it cuts out, once started again it runs a but rough and is difficult to drive. I have so far replaced the EGR valve and the ICV but this has not resolved the problem, any ideas as I've almost scratched all of the skin off my head, thanks in advance.

Not yet but I will have a go tomorrow, I've been told that it could possibly be the maf sensor but have also read posts saying that a cam sensor could cause the same problem.
Funny old cars these, it seems that no matter what sensor fails they all seem to have the same symptoms.
