Lambda Sensor Q?
« on: 29 March 2009, 10:04:35 »

Am i right in thinking one of the Lambda sensors is the thing i can see sticking up from the exhaust down the RHS of the engine (looking backwards) and is this referenced as sensor 1 bank 1 in diagnostics...

Only reason i ask is monitoring the logs on "My Naff Code Reader" yesterday i had a couple of S1B1 O2 sensor not connected errors, i noticed that the cables to that patricular lambda sensor have been repaired with cable crimps so if that was pertaining to that sensor i was going to repair the cable properly by soldering it and using heatshrink shroud.

wow what a difference, took the sensor out, removed the crimped in extension from the cable, resoldered and protected, gave the sensor a bit of a clean while it was out now it goes like a rocket, the car literally flies for the first time ever.
