Is 2.5 TD ECU swop possible without tech2
« on: 03 April 2009, 23:37:23 »

I got my 2000 tractor chipped last year and im thinking of buying another 2000 tractor with less miles on it.

My question is can i straight swop the ECU's or do I need to give the Opel man loads of money to tech2 it :question :question

Hiya Buddy, glad the chip is perforing well , in regards to swapping the ecu, im pretty sure you can do it but need to change the immobilsor ring around the ignition switch and the key chips as well, as all ecu are coded to the key, so in other words you neeed both crs together to swap all the relevant parts

If its same ecu type (like to be 428 on that car), just swap the chip over.

Possibly, but hardly difficult...
