Central locking remote eats batteries
« on: 13 May 2009, 19:41:49 »

My both remotes (spare one too) drain the batteries (cr2032) in just a couple of weeks. I hate to change them all the time. I'm not an expert when it comes to electronics, but I assume this has something to do with oxidation. Am I right? Any help fixing this problem? I wouldn't like to buy a new remote...

Rarely last more than a couple of months in mine, both Omega's have been the same, the Vectra I had before needed them changing about every 18 months.
