minifacelift steering wheel size vs vectra wheel

hi all. i have been offered a nice carbon finish vectra steering wheel from a car a similar age to my minifacelift elite (1997). i wondered if the steering wheel from a vectra is the same size as a steering wheel from an omega, or is it smaller and won't fit properly?

Pretty sure they are the same wheel in size and fitment.

so would i have any issues re airbag etc? i've not removed a steering wheel before, so assuming they are airbag > airbag do i need to get it reset or anything? or is it just a clip on clip off affair?!

same airbag just dissconect your battery for 30 mins befiore you remove it  :y

deffinatly the same

i know this because..... I nabbed my vectras half ally steering wheel and swapped it with the omega's when i first got it

all the same even the swc & airbag connectors are  :y

do as mark has said with the battery and you should be fine!

you can have some fun with the old airbag and a 9v battery ::) :-X

Mmm!? So the German 'wooden' Vectra wheel in the link I showed would fit my prefacelift?

yeah prefacelift vec wheel will fit a prefacelift mig deffinatly!!

i assume facelifts the same??

i dont like the wood! but ally is ice cold in the winter !
