guys

forgive my ignorance but i know where this is supposed to be , but on my 1998 2.5 td , just in front of the fuel filter is what looks like a hbv.

is there a chance this is i were mine is , even has the vacum pipe also.

I will try to post a pic , i suspect mines is leaking due to having to fill the expansion tank after 16 mile trip from work , no other obvious leaks .

Thanks

Phil

I dont know your engine, but recall access on the TD is easy, not hidden at the back like the V6's

Hi  Jimbob thanks for your reply  ,  guys im now managing to travel only 12 miles after filling expansion tank to the brim, i sometimes can actually see the water running out from under the car .

Can anyone advise on the exact location of the hbv on a 2.5 td please as this is only the long list of woes and im on the verge of gettin shot of it.

Cheers
