i had started this thread as it is LPG related but i can't change the title so i thought i would put my fault codes under a new thread to see if anyone could tell me what they are and how easy (and how!) I fix them

codes are:

need to check codes, but certainly a cam sensor in there

0120 - Throttle Position Sensor Voltage high/low
1690 - Telltale Checklight Voltage high/low
0130 - 02 Sensor Voltage high/low/range/performance
0505 - Idle Air Control Valve Voltage high/low
0110 - Air Intake Voltage high/low
0340 - Camshaft Sensor Incorrect Signal

1690 & 0340 = need new cam sensor.
0505 = clean IACV.
0110 = I'm sure thats inside the MAF on the 2.0.
0120 & 0130 could also be MAF related but don't hold me to that

0120 is trottleposition or the map sensor unlikely signal check for leaks, wiring or worn out tps
1690 is connection error in wiring(may be related to broken tps)
505 is idle controll failure
110 is inlet airtemp circuit failure, the temp gauge i think is in the airflow gauge, the box with wires to that stands on the hose between airfilter and manifoild
340 is cranck sensor wiring error....

try deleting all your codes and see what comes up.you need the tec2 to delete.

mark all 10 you read is 0

Don't get hung up on the Telltale error, or the MAF error until the other faults have been resolved.

2.0l generally runs OK with no cam sensor, though limited to 4.5k rpm. Also, often a sod to start.

Is it in lbh mode when that sensor is down?
Was trying to see what might cause the problem.

thanks for all your help so far lads.

am going to get the lpg system serviced first to see if that affects things.

car runs well in petrol - but engine warning light come on when in lpg so am guessing some of these sensors/codes might be lpg related.

it does make a tap,tap,tap,tap noise when first started but then settles down ok and is not so noisey.
having come from bmws i am used to this being worn/out of adjustment tappets - not sure it is the same with omegas?

a lot seems to be pointed to camshaft sensor - is this a "replace" item (any idea how much and is it easy to do) or should i find the cause of the problems before replacing random bits?

Omegas have hydralic lifters, so shouldn't tap if its been properly serviced. Also check exhaust manifold - they can tick.
