Central locking

Is not opening or locking the passenger door.... well sometimes on the second lock on my elite it works but not always ... any ideas chaps?

Might be a lazy solenoid on the way to the land of dead solenoids ...

I noticed exactly the same symptoms (on the same door funnily enough) 24 hours before the solenoid packed in.

As Ziad has suggested, my money is on the solenoid as well.

Just cured the same problem by fitting a new solenoid from one of the guys on here ( a new one costs £56!), and by following the instruction provide in the how to section on here. The only problem I had was when removing the door card the top plastic strip came away at one end, cured with TIGER BOND, and removing the door mechanism is a bit fiddly.  Thanks again OOFER'S
