2.6 Cambelt Change
« on: 02 June 2009, 15:33:23 »

Hi, Guys, I'm just about to have a shot at the dreaded cambelt change on my 2.6.  I've ordered the belt kit and a new water pump, but now I find that the magic DVD is out of stock! Has anyone out there got a copy that I could buy or borrow for a week or so? I'm in Gloucester.  Grateful for any offers!

Ah, a Gloucester lad!

I've got all the kit and have done more V6 cambelt changes than I care to remember.

Where exactly in Glouces are you? Maybe you could pop over and I'll give you a hand if we can sort a free time. My home is Cheltenham.

(I won't be online till late, but will check replies by morning)...

Hi, James, that sounds like an offer too good to refuse! I'm hoping to receive the kit on Thurs or Fri, so almost anytime after that would work for me as I'm nearly retired!. I have a fair bit of amateur spannering experience and a pretty comprehensive toolkit, but I'd rather not break it, so I would welcome your expertise.  By the way, I'm in Painswick Rd , Gloucester.
