Dashboard display missing
« on: 23 May 2009, 16:00:15 »

I expect many owners have or have had this problem. 1994 CDX. The display has many "bits missing" and virtually unreadable. Is there a cure? Can it be replaced/repaired/changed. Thanks

I believe they can be repaired if you're very very good with a soldering iron. Best option is to replace, try ebay or one of the breakers on here :y

You do need to replace with one of the early unreliable ones though  :'(

the later more reliable ones have different connectors

The Yellow connector MID's can be replaced with the grey plug MID if you are good with a soldering iron and making up looms / modifying PCB's :y

How do you get at the screw if the steering column is fiexed? I.E. it does not have the lever to move it up and down etc. Thanks
