Interchanging displays?
« on: 14 June 2009, 13:16:43 »

My facelift MV6, being base model has a nasty old pixelated MID.

My Prefacelift Elite, has a much nicer display, can't recall what it's called offhand...

Are they interchangable? (Obviously I know they'd need reconfig with T2)...

Failing that - how common are the colour displays? I'd love one of those, but seem to recall they have pairing issues to head units?

Ok ta - what's involved with fitting a colour unit then? New loom section, or plug and go?

Bit of wiring, satnav antenna, new headunit.

If I'd had known the old girl was going to be up for sale, I'd not have bought a different car...  :-[

Must persevere with the MV6 now though - I really don't think I'd get away with bringing another vehicle home...  ;D
