New headlight bulbs
« on: 25 June 2009, 16:09:38 »

Hi all, does anyone have any views on which bulbs to use for headlights, mine have gone a bit pink I think. I see you can get a pair of D2S on ebay for around £30, are they any good and which temp is best. I know 4300 is OEM but are 6000 any good. Or is the best bet to go Vaux?

Got a pair off ebay for around that price - they were made by Phillips, Hungary.  Seem ok.  They were 4300s

Thats the ones I saw, seemed a bit cheap for phillips bulbs. I take it yours are OK compared to the last set you had. I dont want to lose light on the road for the sake of looks, but have heard the 6000k ones arent really any dimmer but do look better(anything is better than my pink ones!).
