whats your 2.5 TD auto idle speed?

had no luck with my auto stalling as in my previous post.Can someone tell me what the idle speed should be(or what yours is) and if their revs drop at all when putting into drive or reverse?mine ticks over about 600.

My old tractor was set to 650rpm. May have dropped 50-100rpm in D, but idle rock steady still.

Mine is a little lumpy at 600, that is according to the rev-counter, which is not 100% accurate. It runs better with just a few revs more. :y

I think mine is at about 600 ish, and drops a tiny little bit when in D.

thanks for all your replies,it seems my idle speed is ok and after putting in a new air filter it seems better now,revs drop a little in drive then return to normal ,but...at times revs still drop too far and it stalls.also stalled today when turning a slow corner.
should revs drop at all when turning steering?as mine does.

Most cars do as it puts extra load on the engine due to the power steering pump  :y
