Cambelts don't rattle but one of the pulleys or the tensioner could be. You need an ear from somebody who's more familier with the V6's.

when is the cam belt and tensioner due for replacment? Change every 4 year or 40k miles.

remove icv and clean with carb cleaner repeat until it settles down. Change oil, and again after 2 or 3k miles if its a lifter, may also be exhaust manifold gasket. But check the belt reguardless.
