« on: 12 July 2009, 15:58:33 »

Good afternoon i finally got around to change the HBV yesterday the thread really helped thanks Pete now there is another problem there is a hair line fracture on the casing at the inlet at the top right of the radiator (the plastic part)! Do i need a new radiator or could i use anything to seal it?

You "might" be lucky with araldite or similar .. but I would look on that as a temporary fix whilst looking for a replacement.

There are several guys on the forum who break cars on a regular basis, I'm sure one of them can get you a decent rad at a good price.

Check the parts for sale section .. the "breakers" stand out pretty well ... and usually after I post such advice one pops in anyway !!!!

 :) :)
