A recommendation for wheel alignment /geometry
« on: 18 July 2009, 18:57:47 »

If you are in the South Wilts/Dorset/East Somerset area i highly recommend taking your Omega to the Salisbury branch of Tyreland for full geometry checking/adjusting.

Ive been looking for ages for a localish place to take mine, as the steering wheel was slightly off centre and there was a pull to the left and i found their name as a recommendation on an Alfa forum of all things  :-[.

No appointment needed, the guy talked me through what they do, they use Hunter equiptment there, which im told is pretty good. No hard sell, he knew all about the Omega and its special needs  ;D and after checking my car out, it was found to be way out on the front and rear toe and front right camber.

45 mins and £69 later, all sorted, with a before and after print plus another detailed explanation of what they did and why.

All in all, very impressed and its made such a difference to the car.

And just to make it clear, i in no way work or know anyone there, just wanted to give a recommendation as i know a good garage is hard to find!

Cheers
