Hmm. Oil leak could be oil pressure sensor FUBAR, which might explain the oil light.

Check that the coolant hasn't been diluting the oil though (oil cooler / HG?).

is the oil presure sensor located in the area of the leak.
If you go back I've just added another picture and there is no mayo in the oil filler cap

Oil pressure sensor is on the driver's side, front of the engine below the alternator. You should see it poking out just above that corner of the sump with a wiring connector attached to it.

Yep, I know where you mean I've seen it on another omega, It's pouring down here at the moment I'II have a look then it stops :y
