Did cut the door off!
« on: 09 August 2009, 16:21:54 »

After 2 grinding discs and various cuts I got the bugger off!

No other option other than to slice through the outside, through the impact beams ( rest assured they are beefy ) and attack  the door hinge from the inside.

All this for a rust spot or two.

God, no wonder the doors are so heavy, it is reassuring though :)

Seems a bit ott, but trying to refresh what is a decent motor with facelift door strips and hopefully a rear facelift bumper then colour code the front bumper.

Was lucky enough to find a good door off Elite Pete a while ago in the right colour.

You could say the red mist descended a bit ! ;D
