Facelift climate control
« on: 23 August 2009, 13:25:19 »

A/C wasn't very cold on the way home today for some reason, it was cold this morning. Whilst hoping that the gas hasn't leaked out (again) is it worth resetting the climate control?

If so, I thought there was a guide on resetting the climate but couldn't find it. Would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction?

i think you press and hold auto and off for 20 seconds, will hear a click, then it resets.

Disaster - after having spent nearly £400 on a/c repairs it looks like th gas has p*ssed out again - great that all I need. >:( >:( :'( :'(

I reset the climate control and it goes through a cycle heats up and then goes cold again. But also what it did was changed by temperature readings from degrees celcius to farenheit. Anyone know how to change it back to celcius again?  :(

I got it back to celcius thanks.

Further disaster - I've just been out and had it regassed but its made no difference. It's still not cold.

Now usually when there is a leakage it is normally slowish and a regass will atleast last for a few days. I had the leaks fixed about 2 months ago.

I was also turning the a/c on and off and the revs dip ever so slightly and you can feel a load on the engine. Does that mean that the compressor is ok or not necessarily? Or any ideas what it could be? :'( :'(
