2.5 TD Timing chain and fuel pump..
« on: 02 September 2009, 10:03:22 »

Hi,

What sort of cost / job is it to change the timing chain / tensioners on a 2.5TD Omega?

Also, what about changing the fuel pump seals?

Thanks

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that it means head and sump off, though I've not, (and hope not to have to), tackle this.
What fuel pump seals are you referring too?

head does not have to come off!!!!!
its a fair bit of work t strip it whole timing cover comes off to give access to the chains and guides but you do need the special tool to hold the timing etc!!

depends how a stud (doesn't) come out, which is locited to block, meaning you have to lift head up over said stud.
